Heavy beams are cut for one reason: the connection details must fit on site. Slots, copes, web openings and bolt holes cut on the beam itself replace marking, drilling and flame cutting by hand, and they arrive repeatable from the first beam to the last.
What we can cut
Morshedi cuts H-beams, I-beams, channels and angles in mild steel, structural steel and aluminium. Sections go up to 1,000 mm wide with flange widths up to 400 mm and lengths up to 12 m. In one setup we cut bolt holes, slotted holes, copes, cleats, web penetrations, end profiles and part marks. Connection holes are positioned to ±0.5 mm. We work from DXF, STEP and NC1/DSTV files.

What to send with your enquiry
- Section designation and steel grade for each beam mark.
- Length per mark and quantity.
- NC1/DSTV or STEP file, or a drawing with hole positions and end details.
- Which ends need copes, bevels or end plates.
- Delivery date and site, plus any coating after cutting.
- Inspection or certificate requirements.

Why it saves time later
When holes and copes are cut accurately before welding, fit-up on the bench and on site needs less rework. Weld preparation can be done in the same workflow, with bevels up to 45 degrees where the joint needs them.
One workshop, one flow
Beams go on to CNC bending, MIG or laser welding and finishing in the same Dubai Industrial City workshop. Our management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
